Get the feel of Guatemala in this short trip that will take you through the main places of interest: Tikal, Chichicastenango, Lake Atitlan and Antigua. You will be impressed by all the beauty and culture that abounds in this country!

Day 01 Arrival to Iguaçu

Upon arrival to Iguaçu airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Brazilian side of the falls. Lodging at the Hotel San Martin in Iguaçu.

Day 02 Iguaçu Falls (Brazilian side) (B)

Today will be an unforgettable day, as you’ll visit one of nature’s most incredible demonstrations: the Iguaçu Falls. Upon arrival to the visitor center you will walk down hill until you reach an observation point. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Lodging at the Hotel San Martin in Iguaçu.

Day 03 Iguazú Falls (Argentinean side) (B)

In the morning you will visit the Argentinean side of the magnificent falls. After passing customs, you’ll cross the Tancredo Neves International Bridge. After a scenic ride to the Iguazu Park, you’ll board a small train that will take you near the Devil’s Throat, the most spectacular part of the Iguazu Falls system. Then, you will have the opportunity to walk about 45 minutes along the upper circuit, where you’ll enjoy yet more sights of this natural wonder. Then, you will be transferred back to the hotel, where you will spend the afternoon at leisure. Lodging at the Hotel San Martin in Iguaçu.

Day 04 Iguaçu / Cuiabá-Pantanal (B, D)

You will be transferred to Iguaçu airport for your flight to Cuiabá. Upon arrival to Cuiaba/ Várzea Grande Airport, you will be transferred to Pantanal. This immense freshwater wetland is without doubt a vital stop for any nature enthusiast. Maintaining one of the densest ecosystems in the world, the area is home to some 650 bird species and thousands of different plant species. At sunset, you’ll enjoy a hike in the surrounding area. After dinner, you’ll take a night tour to observe the amazing wildlife that abounds at this hour. Lodging at the Pousada Araras in Pantanal.

Day 05 Pantanal (B, L, D)

Today you’ll spend the whole day observing the superb plant and animal life that flourishes in this unique ecosystem. You’ll explore some parts by car, some hiking, and others horseback riding. Lodging at the Pousada Araras in Pantanal.

Day 06 Pantanal (B, L, D)

Today you’ll continue to explore Pantanal from another point of view. First you’ll go by car, riding through the famous Transpantaneira Road. Then, you’ll have a canoe tour, where you’ll be able to spot more wildlife. Once there, it’s possible to arrange for piranha fishing (optional). A picnic lunch will be served along the way. Lodging at the Pousada Araras in Pantanal.

Day 07 Pantanal / Brasilia (B)

In the morning, enjoy a photo safari along the Transpantaneira Park Road before going back to Cuiabá for your flight to Brasilia. Upon arrival to the airport you will be transferred to the hotel. Brasilia, the country’s capital is located in the central part of the country. This is the youngest city ever to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and has an astonishing cultural complex, an artificial lake, a famous bridge, and many prominent landmarks, none of which you will want to miss during your stopover to Brasilia. Lodging at the Manhattan Hotel in Brasilia.

Day 08 Brasilia / Manaus (B)

In the morning, you’ll have a city tour that includes residential areas, churches and chapels, including “Our Lady of Fatima”, the first building inaugurated in this young city. Other landmarks you’ll see are: Juscelino Kubitschek memorial (Brasilia’s founder and former Brazil’s president), view points and other important buildings. Afterwards you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Manaus. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll have a city tour, where you’ll visit highlight such as the Opera House, and the market. (Notes: entrance fees must be paid on the spot. The Opera House is closed on Sundays and Holidays). You’ll then be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Tropical Manaus Hotel in Manaus.

Day 09 Manaus / Amazon (B, D)

Around noon, you will depart towards the hotel (2,5 hr boat ride). Upon arrival you will enjoy a welcome drink and have some time on your own to explore the premises. In the evening, enjoy an alligator spotting tour by canoe. Note: the lodge uses alternative energy sources, and so no hot water is available. Electricity is available in the rooms only during the evenings Lodging at the Amazon Village Lodge in the Amazon.

Day 10 Amazon (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a hike through the intense Amazon jungle. In the afternoon, a reconnaissance canoe tour through the river, where you’ll explore the river area inlets and flooded forest. Lodging at the Amazon Village Lodge in the Amazon.

Day 11 Amazon-Manaus / Rio de Janeiro (B)

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to Manaus by boat. Upon arrival to Manaus you will board a flight to your next exciting destination: Río de Janeiro! Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. This enormous coast city has been made famous for its stunning sunny beaches, relaxing parks and gardens, lively sports, and stimulating nightlife. Attracting tourists of all ages and from all ends, Río also maintains a strong cultural side offering much sightseeing, such as historical buildings, museums and some very famous landmarks. Lodging at the Rio Copa Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 12 Rio de Janeiro (B, D)

After breakfast you’ll enjoy a half day tour in the city. You’ll visit some of the most important landmarks such as Sao Bento Monastery and Santa Teresa district. In this tour you will ride a bus, a typical trolley and will walk is some parts (this tour does not operate on Sundays and National Holidays) Dinner will be served at “La Fiorentina”, Italian restaurant. Lodging at the Rio Copa Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 13 Departure (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport.
