This trip will take you to explore the rugged terrain in Mexico’s Sierra Tarahumara, in the Northwest. This is one of the deepest canyons in the world, and you’ll surely be fascinated by it! Don’t forget your camera!

Day 01 Arrival in Chihuahua

Upon arrival in Chihuahua you will be met and transferred to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a City Tour including the government palace, the main Plaza, the Cathedral and the Revolution Museum, formerly the House of Pancho Villa. Overnight at Hotel Palacio Del Sol In the afternoon, we suggest you take a yacht cruise to Topolobampo bay and a city tour of Mochis (not included). Overnight at Hotel Santa Anita.

Day 02 Chihuahua – Creel (B)

Very early you’ll be transferred to the train station in order to approach the “Chihuahua al Pacifico” train for a five hour ride of to Creel. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to the hotel. In the evening you’ll visit the Arareco Lake, Tarahumara Caves and the Jesuit mission. Overnight at Best Western Lodge at Creel In the afternoon we suggest you to take a tour to Divisadero lookout point, balancing rock & town of Arepo (not included). In this tour, you will be truly impressed by Copper Canyon’s breathtaking landscapes will leave you truly impressed. This so called canyon is actually made up of six immense gorges spread across thousands of square miles. Also, you’ll meet the Tarahumara Indians and you’ll see their handicrafts. Then your guide will take you to the cliff hanging rock lookout. Finally, you’ll visit the town of Arepo, where you’ll be able to see the church and typical houses. Overnight at Hotel Posada Mirador.

Day 03 Creel – Divisadero - Barrancas (B, D)

At the appropriate time you’ll be transferred to the train station to continue your journey towards Divisadero, where you’ll stop for about 15 minutes to see the wonderful views. Then, continue to Posada Barrancas. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. You’ll have the rest of the afternoon at leisure to admire the impressive Copper Canyon. We suggest a visit to the Divisadero and Arepo viewpoint with its beautiful views, church and communities. Overnight at Hotel Mirador.

Day 04 Posada Barrancas – Los Mochis (B, L)

You’ll have the morning at leisure to walk and enjoy the beautiful landscape and the Canyon’s viewpoints. Transfer to the train station to continue through Sierra Tarahumara towards Los Mochis. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Santa Anita Hotel.

Day 05 Los Mochis – Departure (B)

After breakfast at the hotel you’ll be transferred to the airport.
