Day 1 - Panama City - Transfer In Upon arriving to Panama, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to a city hotel by one of our representatives. Panama City is the capital and the biggest city of the country. The Old City is a vast historical sector, known for its Spanish fortifications, colonial buildings and several churches, and certainly worth a tour. |
Day 2 - Panama City - David - Volcan You will be transferred to the Albrook airport in Panama City for your departure flight to David. After a 50-minute flight, you will be taken by road to La Amistad National Park, which is located approximately 90 minutes away. During a one hour walk through the fog forest, you will have the opportunity to admire the lushly green of nature. Soon after, you will visit Finca Dracula, an orchid farm, followed by a stop at the archaeologist site of Barriles. |
Day 3 - Volcan Your day will start with a visit to the volcanic hot springs, and a relaxing warm water bath. On the way, you will be introduced to a local Indigenous family, and will learn about their culture and traditions. Later, in the afternoon, you will take a guided tour through a coffee farm, and a host will explain you the procedure for growing, harvesting and roasting the coffee bean. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a coffee tasting at the lovely coffee house. |
Day 4 - Volcan - Finca La Suiza - Bocas Del Toro After a 4-hour drive, you will arrive to the Caribbean Coast. On the way, there will be a stop at Finca La Suiza, located 1000 meters above the sea level. Great hiking options through the cloud forest are available at this farm. Later on, after lunch, the trip continues throughout the changing vegetation up to Almirante, a small port of the Chiquita Banana Company. There you will board a boat for a 50-minute ride to Isla Colon on the Bocas del Toro archipelago. |
Day 5 - Bocas Del Toro The day starts with a picturesque boat tour to Laguna Bocatorito. There is a great possibility to catch a glimpse of dolphins. Later, you will enjoy snorkeling at Coral Key. The tour continues at Red Frog Beach, where you can go swimming or simply relax at the beach. Soon after, you will pass by Hospital Point, a popular snorkeling and diving spot, and finally, you will return to the main island. |
Day 6 - Bocas Del Toro - Panama City Tour You will be transferred to Bocas del Toro airstrip in the morning for your flight back to Panama City. After your arrival, you will be taken on a Panama City tour. At the beginning, you will observe the mansions, sky scrapers and the green hills nearby. Then, you will visit the colonial part of the city, known as "Casco Antiguo", where you will see old churches and historical buildings. The tour continues at the Amador Causeway, with outstanding views of both the canal and the city's skyline. |
Day 7 - Partial crossing of the Panama Canal Today you will submerge into the Panamanian history. You will experience a partial transit of the extraordinary Panama Canal. Observe huge cargo ships, while you get information about the Canal history, operation and the current expansion process. Lunch will be served on the ship. Later, you may spend the rest of the evening at leisure. |
Day 8 - Departure Today you will be taken to the Tocumen International Airport for your departure flight or to other destination of your choice. |
