Day 1 - Arrive at the San Jose
You will arrive at the San Jose Airport where our representative will meet you. He will transfer you to your hotel ,the Grano de Oro Hotel where you will spend one night in a deluxe room.

Day 2 - Flight to Tortugero
This morning is an early departure for you flight to Tortugero. You will have a picnic breakfast to take with you. You will have a shared boat transfer to the Evergreen Lodge and be able enjoy a beautiful ride, taking in the sights as you go. After you settle into your accommodations you can have an afternoon visit to the town of Tortugero

Day 3 - River Wildlife Tour
This morning you can participate in a tour of the river to spot wildlife including howler monkeys, spider monkeys, all kinds of birds and perhaps an iguana or two. After lunch you may take another ride out on the river to see more wildlife, since different animals come out at different times of the day.

Day 4 - Boat Tour or Relax at the Lodge.
Today you may go out on the morning and afternoon boat tours or you may choose to relax on the grounds of the lodge. Take a walk, a swim in the turtle shaped pool or take a kayak out on the river to go exploring.

Day 5 - Cano Negro
Today you will go take a boat transfer back to Cano Negro and board your mini bus to Guapiles stopping for lunch along the way. You will have a private ground transfer to Arenal. Your driver/guide will tell you all about the area and show you the sights along the way. This evening be sure and take a dip in the hot spring pools.

Day 6 - Arenal Paraiso Hotel
Today is at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities in the Arenal area.

Day 7 - Cloud Forest
Today you will take a private lake crossing transfer to Monteverde and experience the beauty of a different rainforest which is called the Cloud Forest.

Day 8 - Fonda Vela Hotel
You will have your day at leisure. Take part in one of the optional tours below. Be sure and take a walk around the grounds as you will see wildlife that you might not see anywhere else.

Day 10 - El Parador Hotel

Today you will transfer to the hotel to take your flight home and say goodbye to Costa Rica ….until your return.

- Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
- We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
- For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
- For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
