This package is for the true nature lover, looking for something off the beaten path. In this itinerary you will go to remote Corcovado National Park and Cano Island (barrier reef) before traveling to the beautiful Manual Antonio National Park. There are many options available to make this package truly yours!

Day 1 (Arrival)
Arrival at the International airport. Meet and greet at the international airport and transfer to the quaint Grano de Oro Hotel in San Jose.
Overnight at the Grano de oro Hotel, 01 double standard room. (B)

Day 2 (San Jose - Corcovado)
After breakfast your Costa Rican Trails guide will pick you up for your transfer to the local airport in San Jose to take flight to Palmar Sur. There we will drive you to Sierpe for a thrilling boat trip to the Drake Bay area. Casa Corcovado will be you home base for the next three nights! (Meals Included)

Day 3 (Corcovado National Park)
Familiarize yourself with the intricate workings of the rainforest on a day hike into Corcovado National Park and spend the rest of the day exploring on your own, relaxing or on a scheduled activity.

Day 4 (Caño Island)
Off to the Caño Island Reserve, a 300-hectare island known for its Indian cemetery and coral reefs teeming with marine life. Time to relax and swim, or hike through the island.

Day 5 (Casa Corcovado - Manuel Antonio)
Morning transfer back to Palmar Sur. Take local flight to Manuel Antonio, Quepos.
Considered to be Costa Rica's most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife. Watch for the monkeys and iguanas who share the park with you. Most hotels are small and intimate, set high on a hill overlooking the rain forest, endless beaches and the national park. Options abound here! Whether you are looking for a romantic honeymoon hideaway or an action-packed visit, this premier destination has the answer.

Day 6 - 7 (Manuel Antonio)
Days free to relax or take advantage of the many tours available in the area. Open for optional tours
Two nights at El Parador Hotel, 01 double superior room. (B)

Day 8 (Manuel Antonio - San Jose)
Take morning local flight back to San Jose. Upon arrival transfer to the Britannia Hotel.
Overnight at the Grano de Oro Hotel, 01 double standard room. (B)

Day 9 (Departure)
Departure. Transfer will be provided to the International airport.

  • Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
  • We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
  • For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
  • For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
