Day 01 Arrival - San Jose
Arrival to the Juan Santamaria Airport. your representative will meet
you at the airport to take you to the Fleur de Lys Hotel, located in
down town San Jose.
Overnight at the Hotel Fleur de Lys, standard rooms.

Day 02 Pacuare Whitewater Rafting - Arenal
Today our adventure starts early morning to reach the
Pacuare River for a rafting trip. This river has been officially
declared a Wild and Scenic River, and offers some of the finest white
water in Latin America, winding deep inside of one of Costa Rica's most
impressive primordial rainforests. Breakfast on route and lunch is
served along the river. After this tour, our representative will
transfer you under shuttle bus basis to the Arenal area.
One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, a lake
world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of
wildlife is what you will find in this area.

Day 03 Arenal
A late afternoon visit to the trails of El Silencio and
the volcanic thermal mineral pools at Tabacón Hot Springs is included.
Arenal Volcano is breathtaking after dark when its thundering
explosions and bursts of glowing rock light the night sky.
Dinner is included and served at Tabacon Hot Springs restaurant.
Overnight at Arenal Paraiso, standard rooms.

Day 04 Arenal - Monteverde
Morning departure to the Arenal Lake where a boat will
be waiting for you to provide a shuttle service. On the other side of
the lake, a bus will take you on gravel road to reach Monteverde.
Monteverde was founded about 40 years ago by a small group of
conservation-minded Quakers who were looking for a peaceful place to
live. Its Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most outstanding wild life
sanctuaries in the tropics. Check in at Hotel Belmar or similar.

Day 05 Sky Trek-Tram
Morning visit to the Sky Zipline & Tram facilities.
The Sky Trek is a system of seven platforms suspended above the ground
in the midst of tree boughs. Zip lines attached from one platform to
another will allow you to slide with the use of special equipment. In
Sky Tram explore the world famous Cloud Forest of Monteverde in a 5,249
feet ride that would lead you up to Costa Rica Continental Divide.
Free afternoon for optional tours such as horseback riding or a guided
visit into the reserve (not included into package)

Day 06 Monteverde - Carara
After breakfast you will depart on shuttle bus towards
the Central Pacific Coast to the Carara Biological Station. Check in at
Villa Lapas Hotel. The afternoon is free to explore the surroundings.

Breakfast included.

Day 07 (Kayak in Agujitas Beach)
This morning you will be driven to Agujitas Beach to
start an exciting sea kayaking adventure. Imagine yourself cruising
silently past spectacular cliffs full of pelicans and frigate birds in
a craft pioneered by the Polynesians and perfected for tourism here in
Costa Rica. You will travel under your own power accompanied by up to 7
other paddlers and your guide or steersperson (timonel). It's like
rafting on the ocean to a secluded beach. The warm waters of the
Pacific are home to a large variety of tropical fish that are looking
forward to swim with you as you snorkel and explore the underwater
world with your guide. Return to Villa Lapas Hotel.
In the afternoon explore the fauna and flora of the Carara Biological
Reserve while you walk on the hanging bridges of the private reserve of
Villa Lapas which borders to Carara.

Day 08 Carara - San Jose - Departure
Private transfer back to San Jose, either to the airport
or extend your stay in Costa Rica
