Adventure Costa Rica Honeymoon

As if getting married isn’t thrilling enough, this honeymoon package was designed to return adrenaline flows to pre-ceremony highs.

Day 1 Arrival
Arrive by air into San Jose. Your representative will meet you at the airport and provide transfer to Hotel for your first night in Costa Rica.
Overnight at the Grano de Oro, superior room.

Day 2 Pacuare River
Early morning pick-up for your thrilling white water rafting adventure on the picturesque Pacuare River. Overnight in a jungle oasis nestled amidst an enchanting rainforest on the banks of the river. A romantic dinner for two has been arranged for you.

Day 3 San Jose
After breakfast in the comfortable Pacuare Lodge, hop back into the raft.

Rafting becomes even more exciting today as you begin to use the skills and experience gained the day before. Your guides will stop the rafts along the journey and lead you up paths and side streams that open onto pristine waterfalls and natural water slides. Lunch will be served along the river, and when we reach our final destination, we'll board the comfortable microbus for your return to San José, sharing experiences with each other as this memorable trip draws to a close.

Day 4 Corcovado National Park
Depart after breakfast for Corcovado National Park. Just getting there is an adventure. Once your flight has landed in Palmar Sur, a heart-pumping boat ride on the Sierpe River awaits you. Arrive early afternoon at the Casa Corcovado Lodge. The rest of the day is free for exploring. Don’t forget to choose your location of choice for your private dinner tonight. (FB)

Day 05 Corcovado National Park
Familiarize yourself with the intricate workings of the rainforest on a day hike into Corcovado National Park. Home to more than 400 species of birds and more than a hundred species of amphibians and mammals, including monkeys, scarlet macaws, coatimundis and other wildlife. According to National Geographic, this region of Costa Rica is “the most biologically intense place on earth”. (FB)

Day 6 Caño Island
This morning you’re off to Caño Island Reserve. Time to relax and swim, or hike through the island. T his 300 ha island is known for its Indian cemetery and also known for its coral reefs and a variety of marine life. Even ponderous Humpback Whales can often be seen breaking the surface of the water in their season of migration (December and January). (FB)

Day 7 San Jose
Return to San Jose and check in at the Grano de Oro or similar hotel. Free time to do some shopping or experience the active nightlife in San Jose. (B)

Day 8 Departure
Transfer to airport for your flight home or take advantage of the many tour extensions available.

    Domestic flights & boat transfers have a luggage restriction of 25 pounds per person.

  • Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
  • We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
  • For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
  • For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
